Bio

Tressa Bishop, Senior Vice President with Alliant Insurance Services, is an experienced community association insurance specialist. She leverages her extensive relationships in the underwriting and wholesale brokerage world to benefit her clients. 

Tressa comes from a long line of insurance professionals in the reinsurance (mother), retail brokerage (paternal grandfather), and carrier claims (maternal grandfather) arenas. In addition, her husband of 29 years is on the carrier side and her oldest son is on the wholesale brokerage side of the business. Tressa is passionate about educating clients on potential exposures and providing guidance and advocacy throughout the claims process.

Tressa has been actively involved with CAI since 2016. She has served as Board Treasurer, Board President, Chair of Editorial and Activities committees, and contributing member of Programs & Education and Membership committees. She is a frequent presenter of educational programs for managers and homeowners, and has been a speaker at the Community Association Law Seminar annual national conference bringing together community association attorneys, insurance brokers and carriers, community managers and Board members.

Tressa graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ with a Master of Business Administration-Finance.  She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation through the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance and is one of only 129 brokers nationwide to currently hold the Community Insurance and Risk Management Specialist (CIRMS) designation through CAI. Tressa also holds the CAI Educated Business Partner (EBP) distinction.
